• Worked with photo, graphics, and story editors to establish timelines for enterprise projects and determine visual assets
• Led visuals planning for several projects, including a special Business of Weddings Issue and the Sincerely, Michelle series
• Commissioned 2-4 illustrations a week for quick turnaround technology stories
• Created in-house photo illustrations using stock and wire images
• Designed the annual Holiday Tech Guide special section, which included the technology gift guide and other holiday shopping stories

News/Sports/Features Designer, The Washington Post
Sept. 2017 – Aug. 2018

• Regularly designed Sports, Style, and A sections of The Washington Post
• Acted as backup designer for multiple sections, including Sunday Business, Local Living, Sunday Arts, and National Weekly (The Post's syndicated publication that is printed by and distributed to partner newspapers around the country)
• (In 2018-2019) Worked on a small cross-newsroom team to create Google AMP stories, a new mobile-first template, and helped develop the template for further use across the design team
• Commissioned an illustrator and a paper engineer to create a physical pop-up book for the Best Books of 2018 project. Worked with photo and video teams to capture images and video of the book in the studio.
• Designed digital presentations across the sports, foreign, politics, and national sections

• Designed print pages for the news and features sections (metro, business, science & health, variety)
• First intern in recent history to design the Star Tribune front page
• Facilitated photo selection, color correction, and cropping
